Design Philosophy

My design philosophy is inspired by my passion for the game of golf as it is played on the classic links courses of the British Isles. I regard a site as a natural canvas. By enhancing the aesthetics of the site my goal is to produce a golf course that encourages the character of the landscape to shape the final design.

My approach to design is as simple as that. I explore the site, unearth what unique features and forms the site offers and find a way to relate the holes to those features to create a distinctive golfing experience on every hole.
